Great, so I have an idea. I can't let anyone know about it or see it!

When I first decided to write, I was hit with a wave of fear. The idea of other people reading my stories terrified me - what if they didn’t like what I’d written? What if they read too much into the characters and assumed the events were about me personally? That kind of anxiety really held me back for a long time, making me second-guess myself and my creativity.

But then, I started seeing people around me - my husband, friends, relatives, fellow writers - taking risks and facing their own fears. It was like a little spark went off in my head, and I thought, “Why not me?” So, I decided to stop letting fear control me. I took a deep breath and said, “Screw it, I’m doing it!”

Once I accepted that fear was just part of the process, I found the courage to share my stories. And in the end, the drive to express myself was stronger than any doubt or worry. It wasn’t easy, but it was definitely worth it.
