Beck's Babbling

Hey there, welcome to Beck’s Babbling! I’m Beck - a guy who's seen a lot, learned a lot, and is still figuring out how to (or even if I want to) use TikTok (seriously, what is a 'stitch'?). Growing up gay, I didn’t exactly have a roadmap - no characters on TV, in movies, or in books - who looked like me or lived like me. I did a lot of figuring out on my own. Now that I’m older (but still super cool), I want to share my story with you.

In this blog, you’ll hear about my experience growing up without much in the way of LGBTQIA+ role models, mixed in with some stories from my book series about two best friends in high school - one gay, one questioning - navigating the twists and turns of friendship, self-discovery, and everything that comes with being a teenager. Oh, and you can bet there will be some dad jokes in there, because what's a blog without a few bad puns, right?
