Deciding to write a book

The idea for my story, and the characters Tay and Third, came from my love of Thai BLs - boys' love dramas. I’ve always been drawn to the warmth and acceptance you see in those shows, and they made me think a lot about the kind of "posse" I wish I’d had been a part of - one built on deep trust and understanding. I wanted to create a world where two friends could share anything, even the toughest secrets, without fear of being judged or rejected.

That’s where Tay and Third came from.

Their bond is based on honest conversations, where they talk openly about their differences, their fears, and their shared experiences. As they figure out their identities together, they form a connection that’s about more than just friendship - it's about love that’s stronger than any fear or uncertainty. Their relationship shows how important it is to have someone who truly gets you, someone who supports you in embracing who you really are.

In many ways, their story celebrates the beauty of friendship and self-acceptance, and the importance of finding that one person who’s there for you through it all.
