The IT'S ALL GOOD UNTIL series:
BEST FRIENDS ON A DISCOVERY JOURNEY
COZY MM ROMANCE SERIES

part of Amazon's KINDLE UNLIMITED !!
In the heart of high school, two best friends Tay and Third, embark on a journey of self-discovery, exploring the complexities of their emerging sexuality. As they confide in each other about everything from homework to heartbreak, they find themselves confronting feelings they never anticipated. These newfound emotions challenge their friendship but also deepen their bond, as they navigate the trials of adolescence together. Their world expands as they stumble upon boys love dramas (BLs), captivating narratives that reflect their own experiences and aspirations. These stories resonate deeply, providing them with a sense of representation and hope as they ponder who they are and who they wish to become. Through laughter, fears, and shared secrets, they learn that the journey of understanding oneself can be both confusing and beautiful, ultimately forging a path toward authenticity and acceptance in a world that is ever-evolving.

I wrote the It’s All Good Until series to tell queer stories that feel soft, hopeful, and real - and for those (like myself) that didn't have these stories growing up.
These books are about friendship as love, chosen family, and the quiet moments that shape who we become. They’re about identities that don’t always fit neatly into labels, and relationships that matter deeply—even when they don’t follow traditional rules.
Too often, queer coming-of-age stories are defined by trauma. While those stories are important, they are not the only truth.
It’s All Good Until centers queer joy, safety, and connection—without denying the real challenges of growing up.
These stories make space for warmth, humor, and hope alongside vulnerability.
For those of us who grew up without queer stories that felt safe, soft, or hopeful—without characters who were allowed to love deeply, question gently, or grow up surrounded by chosen family—these books offer something many of us needed but never had.
Through Tay, Third, and Toby, readers are invited to revisit those formative years with compassion. To sit with the friendships that mattered. To imagine different outcomes. To find comfort, healing, or understanding in stories where queer kids are allowed joy, stability, and emotional security.
In that way, It’s All Good Until isn’t only about coming of age—it’s about looking back with kindness. About giving your younger self the stories, reassurance, and representation they deserved.
As the boys grow into adulthood, my goal has never been to harden them, but to let them change without losing their kindness, their connection, or each other.
Thank you for growing up with them.

Book 5 in the series
College was supposed to be the beginning. Instead, it feels like everything might fall apart.
When the boys are faced with a life-altering bombshell—everything they thought was solid suddenly feels fragile. For Tay, the idea of losing Third is unthinkable. They’ve always been two peas in a pod, inseparable since kindergarten. Add Toby into the mix, and it becomes clear that what the three of them share goes far deeper than friendship—something closer to an emotional throuple that none of them are quite ready to label.
Third is spiraling too. As an asexual who’s never felt like he fits even the labels meant for him, the possibility of leaving forces him to question what love really looks like for him. Is what he has with Andie enough to justify walking away from his chosen family? Or is the emotional bond he shares with Tay—and by extension Toby—the truest relationship he’s ever known?
As life ramps up, the boys juggle classes, jobs, and adulthood’s responsibilities, all while waiting for a decision that could change their lives forever. Jane, feeling the quiet drift that comes with growing up, is determined to keep the group together—whether that means an awkward football game coached by Kevin or forcing everyone into a restaurant booth long enough to remember why they matter to each other.
An event at the LGBTQIA+ Center brings a few familiar faces, including Lucas, Steve, Charlie, and even Georgie, G, and Jake (from BARISTA BREWED LOVE and THE GEORGES AND JAKE MAKES THREE).
Between holiday visits, family get togethers, hospital scares, unexpected phone calls, and moments of quiet reassurance, the boys are reminded of what truly defines family for them: trust, love, and showing up—even when the future is uncertain.
It’s All Good Until You Start Adulting is a tender, emotionally rich continuation of the series—about love without rules, growing up without a map, and discovering that ‘chosen family’ is the best choice of all.
